Qualifications

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Node.js.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline processes.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Job description

Position Title: AWS Connect Engineer

Location: Vancouver, BC (Remote)

Overview:

Charter is currently seeking one (1) experienced AWS Connect Engineer to join our team starting August 2025. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on AWS Connect implementation and deployment, particularly in customizing features to meet business needs. Previous experience supporting AWS Connect Contact Centre rollouts is a strong asset. Location: Remote. Term: 6 months. Candidates must reside in Canada for the duration of the project.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on AWS Connect implementation and deployment, particularly in customizing features to meet business needs.
  • Previous experience supporting AWS Connect Contact Centre rollouts is a strong asset.
  • Experience in AWS services, i.e., Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, Lambda, Amazon S3 and Amazon Kinesis.
  • Experience in scripting languages, i.e., Python, Node.js, Ruby
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Active industry certifications are an asset.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
