Qualifications

COMPETITION # 2025-047POSITION TYPE PERMANENT, FULL-TIMESummary of Position:Reporting to the Director of Foster Care, the Awasis Emergency Placement Resources (EPR) House Manager (HM) is responsible for the overall supervision and management of the agency’s EPR program. The EPR-HM will ensure that the safety and needs of children placed in the home are met in a culturally appropriate manner. The EPR-HM is responsible for the scheduling of staff and ensures proper staffing ratios are in place. The EPR-HM may be required to work evenings and weekends.Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be CPR/First Aid Certified. (will train).
  • 2+ years working knowledge of Child and Family Services Standards and Regulations.
  • Child Welfare supervisory and training experience.
  • Experience working with children and youth.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance due to running errands requiring occasional to frequent local travel.
  • Experience supervising staff, including but not limited to scheduling, managing performance, and providing direction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-systemic team.
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft (Word and Outlook).
