Closer to Home Community Services is seeking a dedicated Child & Youth Counsellor to provide proactive overnight supervision in a group home setting. Closer to Home Community Services (CTH) is a non-profit organization located in Alberta since 1995. CTH provides a wide range of services designed to meet the unique needs of children, youth and families.
About the Position: This permanent full-time position, in Medicine Hat, AB, works with a team of professionals to support children and youth in a community group home. Your primary responsibility is to provide awake and proactive overnight supervision for youth in the group home. Utilizing the Teaching Family Model as a holistic approach, you will develop safe, stable relationships and teach skills that increase self-efficacy, with the goal of children and youth living and thriving in their families and communities.
