Job summary

Summit Air, a member of the Ledcor Group, is seeking experienced Avro RJ Captains to lead safe and efficient operations across Canada, including Montreal and Quebec markets. This role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service as we expand our Northern and remote aviation fleet.

We seek individuals with current Canadian ATPL, 4000 total hours, MPIC 2500+, jet experience, and passport for travel to the US and Europe. RAIC eligibility and strong safety culture are required.

Qualifications

• Current Canadian ATPL required.
• Total time of 4000 hours.
• 2500 MPIC (greater than 5700 kg) required.
• 500 hours on a jet aircraft are an asset.
• High Arctic experience is an asset.
• Glass cockpit experience is an asset.
• Current passport with the ability to travel to the United States and Europe.
• Ability to obtain Canadian RAIC.
• Strong commitment to safety culture.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Avro RJ aircraft safely and efficiently as PIC in accordance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Stay current with all available flight information, including weather, and applicable NOTAMs where available, and verify type A flight plans for accuracy.
• Participate in the aircraft pre-flight inspection, as well as all post-flight duties.
