AVRCE - Spare Student Labourer 1

Reporting to the Property Services Supervisor, the Spare Student Labourer will be assisting maintenance staff within the Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education.

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications and abilities:

• Self-motivated.
• Physically able to perform required duties of the position including lifting.
• Must be able to perform outdoor work in all types of weather (sunny, hot, cold, rain).
• Experienced in painting and general construction would be an asset.
• Broad knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
• Candidate must possess a valid Nova Scotia Operator's License with a Clean Driver Abstract.

The successful applicant will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check and a completed Child Abuse Registry.
