We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager (AVP) to lead our Digital Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, outstanding leadership skills, and a passion for building scalable and robust digital solutions. As the AVP Digital Engineering, you will be responsible for guiding the team to deliver high-quality digital solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive the success of our products.

What you'll do

  • Lead and manage the Digital Engineering team, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities.

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure digital solutions using modern technologies.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to define and prioritize digital features and enhancements.

  • Ensure the digital platform meets high standards of performance, reliability, observability, and security.

  • Drive the adoption of best practices in digital design, development, and documentation.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the team.

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of digital initiatives.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the digital platform.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering team, preferably focused on digital development.

  • Strong technical expertise in digital design, development, and integration.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous projects and priorities in a fast paced environment.

  • Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
