About The Work Environment

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. You will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home, typically during regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8 : 00am and 4 : 30pm with flexibility around start / end times. We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto and Vancouver offices. Successful candidates outside these areas will be expected to relocate within a commutable distance.

About You

You are an experienced, entrepreneurial, and operationally savvy sales expert in the payment solutions space. You are passionate, involved, and eager to achieve. You are organized, confident in your sales and partnership abilities, and have developed subject matter knowledge in payments. You seek to advance your career within an entrepreneurial and agile organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience in the payments industry, including expertise in acquiring, issuing, and Money Movement solutions within the North American marketplace. Proven success in banking / fintech sectors is highly preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Ability to establish, nurture, and grow relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, building trust and credibility for long-term partnerships.
  • Success in sales strategy and execution, including lead generation, closing deals, managing sales pipelines, and exceeding targets.
  • Strong analytical skills with understanding of regulations and industry standards in payments, banking, and fintech.
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities and balancing client needs with sales targets.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Drive new client acquisition and build long-term relationships by offering comprehensive payments solutions. Upsell and cross-sell within existing client portfolios.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, build pipelines, and execute plans to meet sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Act as the client advocate internally, ensuring their needs are prioritized while delivering outstanding service.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, building credibility and trust.
  • Analyze clients' operations and provide tailored payment solutions to enhance efficiency and growth.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and propose relevant fintech solutions and payment products.
  • Limited travel within Canada and occasional travel to U.S. industry events.

Compensation

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $145,000 to $160,000, depending on experience and skills. Salary expectations will be discussed during the recruitment process. Please answer our application questions as part of your application.
