Qualifications

Aviva Data Intelligence (ADI) Business Partner

The Data Intelligence Business Partner is responsible for defining, prioritising, and delivering data products that meet the needs of the business unit (BU). The ADI Business Partner works closely with business collaborators and ADI enablement and delivery teams to understand data requirements, translate them into user stories, and manage the data product backlog.

The focus is on understanding key areas of the business that we service and identifying opportunities where data products can accelerate growth, increase profitability, and reduce operational costs, in line with corporate strategic objectives. The role involves taking product opportunities from inception through to production launch and post-launch within and across key business functions.

What You’ll Do
  1. Engage BU leadership to understand data priorities and support levels
  2. Collaborate with technical teams to advise and support BUs
  3. Support BUs with resolving data-related issues to enable execution
  4. Advise BUs on methodologies for efficiency improvements through process and tool optimization
  5. Support emerging BUs with use case delivery
  6. Develop and maintain a prioritized data product roadmap with the BU
  7. Ensure collaboration with all relevant teams and users
  8. Engage directly with users to understand their experience and requirements
  9. Work with Senior Data Analysts and BU to track benefits
  10. Maintain a data product roadmap focused on business value
  11. Deliver data products that meet business needs and strategic priorities
  12. Build and maintain strong relationships through communication of data solutions and outcomes
What You’ll Bring:
  • Undergraduate degree in a data-related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a data-driven team
  • At least 3 years of experience developing product roadmaps for technology products
  • Experience in consulting, innovation/startups, strategy, or transformation is considered
  • Effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders across functions
  • Knowledge of data quality, security, privacy, and governance standards
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to explain complex data and technology solutions simply
  • Organized project management skills
