Job description

The Data Intelligence Business Partner is responsible for defining, prioritising, and delivering data products that meet the needs of the business unit (BU). The ADI Business Partner works closely with business collaborators and ADI enablement and delivery teams to understand the data requirements, translate them into user stories, and manage the data product backlog.

The focus is on understanding key areas of the business that we service and identifying key areas of opportunity where data products can accelerate growth, increase profitability and reduce operational cost, in line with corporate strategic objectives. The role would focus on opportunities within and across the key business and functions and would be responsible for taking product opportunities from inception through to production launch and post-launch.

What You’ll Do
  • Engage BU leadership to understand data priorities and level of support required

  • Collaborate with technical resources to better advise and support BUs

  • Support BUs with resolution of data-related issues to enable continued execution

  • Advise BUs on standard methodologies for improving efficiency through process improvements and tool optimization

  • Support emerging BUs with use case delivery

  • Develop and maintain the prioritized data product roadmap with the BU

  • Ensure collaboration with all relevant collaborators, technical teams and users

  • Directly engage users to understand their experience and advise on requirements

  • Work with Senior Data Analysts and BU to track benefit realization

  • Development and maintenance of a prioritized data product roadmap with a proven concentration on how data enhances business value

  • Successful delivery of data products that meet business needs and align with corporate strategic priorities

  • Build and maintain strong collaborator relationships by consistently communicating and sharing data solutions, results, and outcomes

What You’ll Bring:
  • Undergraduate degree in a data related field or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated ability working in a Data driven team

  • At least 3 years of direct experience in developing product roadmaps for technology products within an organization

  • Candidates with experience in consulting, innovation / startups, strategy and transformation are also considered

  • Collaborating and communicating effectively with stakeholders, such as data engineers, data analysts, data scientists, business users, and senior leaders, across different functions

  • Solid grasp of crafting and developing data products that uphold data quality, security, privacy, and governance standards

  • Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Confluence, to manage the data product development and delivery process

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and explain simply the complexity of data and technology solutions

  • Highly focused and organized project management skills
