Tasks
- Inspect electrical and avionics systems
- Install aircraft instruments
- Ensure that the installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety
- Overhaul aircraft instruments
- Repair, overhaul, modify, install, and test aircraft electrical systems and equipment
- Test electrical, electronic, and instrument components
- Troubleshoot communications, navigation, and autoflight equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and inspect aircraft systems and components

- Avionics Mechanic Trade Certification
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence (AME) - E
