Job summary

Mount Royal University invites applications for Credit Contract faculty in Aviation starting Winter 2027. This is a part-time role with January 5, 2027 start, in the Mount Royal Faculty Association.

The successful candidate will demonstrate commitment to undergraduate teaching and may teach courses such as Advanced Aviation Meteorology, Human Factors, Safety and Aviation Technology, and Airport Management. Open until filled, not hybrid.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Aviation or a related discipline.
• Teaching experience in Aviation courses at the post‑secondary or professional level will be preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach various Aviation management courses, including Advanced Aviation Meteorology (CPL with IFR rating, ATPL preferred); Human Factors, Safety and Aviation Technology; Airport Management and Life Cycle Analysis Aviation.
• Approach work with awareness of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility and support an inclusive environment.
