Job summary

Pacific Coastal Airlines Limited is seeking a Maintenance Control Planner based at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond. You will ensure the technical dispatch of aircraft, monitor deferred defects and CDL status, and create work packages for bases and MROs to keep operations safe and efficient.

The role requires strong planning, organization, and communication skills, with exposure to CMTS, IROPS, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid Transport Canada AME M1/M2 license.
  • Radio License Industry Canada Aeronautical Certificate required.
  • Minimum five years' experience in transport aircraft maintenance.
  • PCA certification authority for one or more aircraft types is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Track deferred defects, MELs and CDLs to ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Forecast, plan and schedule maintenance events for the fleet using CMTS.
  • Coordinate with OCC, operations, and support staff to minimize impact on the schedule.
  • Prepare work packages and technical instructions for maintenance bases and MROs.
  • Provide daily reports on aircraft serviceability, delays, incidents, and cancellations.
  • Liaise with teams to ensure required manpower, tooling, and transportation.
  • Act as point of contact with senior management during AOG situations.
