Job summary

Menzies Aviation Calgary is seeking a dedicated team member to support tarmac operations in a fast-paced aviation environment. You will receive and dispatch jet fuel, monitor pipelines, perform quality checks, and conduct routine inspections with safety as a priority.

Outdoors in all weather, you’ll lift up to 70 lbs, complete log entries, attend required trainings, and adhere to airport security and company procedures. A valid Class 5 driver's license and ability to obtain RAIC/AVOP are needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in Canada.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean driving record (past 5 years).
• Able to obtain RAIC and AVOP (airport passes).
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Able and flexible to work variable shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions; reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Receives/dispatches jet fuel via pipelines and trucks.
• Sample and tests products for quality control and inspect facilities and fuel systems.
• Perform routine inspections in line with standards.
• Transfer product and monitor storage tanks and pipelines to prevent spills and contamination.
• Record log entries of fuel transactions, quality control and maintenance.
• Lift and move up to 70 lbs of material and equipment.
• Attend mandatory training and adhere to procedures.
• Ensure compliance with airport identification and security requirements.
