Job summary

Menzies Aviation Fueling (Canada) Ltd. is seeking a operations supervisor responsible for day-to-day performance, safety, and customer satisfaction in fueling operations at the airport. You will ensure on-time delivery, lead and develop teams, and maintain high service levels in a demanding environment.

The role requires proactive planning, strong communication, and the ability to work with a multinational workforce and unions. Flexibility for variable shifts and weekend work is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills with ability to coach and develop team members.
• Must be 18+ and legally able to work in Canada.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and a valid DA.
• Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail and accurate work, able to meet deadlines.
• Extensive experience in fuelling operations with knowledge of GOMs and airline procedures.
• Familiarity with local airport procedures, safety standards, and airport legislation.
• Ability to work with a multinational workforce and collaborate with unions.
• Able to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. when required.
• Must obtain and maintain required security clearances.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day operational performance, safety, and customer satisfaction of the product.
• Consistently deliver the highest level of customer service at all times.
• Ensure the airline's product is delivered on-time against service-level standards.
• Be proactive through forward planning and take responsibility for the job.
• Provide support and guidance to work colleagues.
• Comply with Health & Safety Act and safety standards at all times.
• Follow Company Uniform Standards and Triple A Regulations.
• Understand and operate equipment correctly with provided training.
• Ensure compliance with Airport Disruption Management Policy and relevant procedures.
• Attend mandatory training and handle queries professionally.
• Safeguard health, safety, and welfare of staff and customers.
• Monitor absenteeism and implement improvement plans.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.
