Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking an Equipment Operator to join the Inland Technologies Canada team. You will operate glycol concentrators and associated equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production while adhering to Inland SOPs and safety rules.

This is a full-time seasonal position with opportunities for advancement. You will monitor equipment, perform maintenance, complete daily reports, and conduct QA sampling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently showing good judgement.
• Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Ability to read, write, speak and communicate effectively.
• Ability to interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• General mechanical competence and ability to effectively use hand tools.
• Ability to maintain a positive and good-natured attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure within fixed time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Monitor glycol processing equipment units to assure optimum production and efficiency.
• Maintain glycol processing equipment as per Inland’s maintenance manuals and SOPs.
• Complete and distribute daily glycol processing equipment production reports neatly and accurately.
• Perform quality assurance sampling of all production processes at regular intervals during shifts.
• Abide by Health and Safety principles and use PPE as required.
• Keep all Inland equipment in good working condition and return to storage areas.
• Recommend potential process improvements to management.
• Perform repairs and replacements of parts and lines as needed.
