Job summary

Bombardier in Dorval, QC, Canada, seeks an Aviation Cybersecurity Engineering Professional to contribute to aircraft cybersecurity requirements and supplier evaluation. Qualifications

• University engineering degree in Software, IT, CS, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years in a technical engineering field, including at least 2 years in cybersecurity of networks and systems and 2 years in aerospace.
• Knowledge of IT and/or Aviation Information Security Management System principles.
• Working knowledge of aviation cybersecurity standards and guidance (e.g., DO-326B, DO-391, DO-355).
• Strong English, French communication skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition of aircraft and system level cybersecurity requirements.
• Review suppliers’ system architecture and cybersecurity protection measures.
• Review aircraft cybersecurity architecture, identify vulnerabilities and assess risks.
• Support cybersecurity penetration testing on aircraft and system rigs and lead snag investigations.
• Lead investigations of cybersecurity incidents and coordinate remediation with suppliers and Bombardier stakeholders.
• Prepare and review design compliance reports and assist Transport Canada with regulatory findings.
• Collaborate with Bombardier departments to complete tasks and participate in system design reviews.
• Maintain cybersecurity processes in line with regulatory requirements and industry practices.
• Represent Bombardier in conferences and industry cybersecurity committees.
• Contribute to evolution of the CYBR domain and its roadmap, mentoring juniors.
