Position: AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Application Architect

This role involves overseeing the design, configuration, and integration of SCADA systems using AVEVA software. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to meet operational and security needs, providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. This position is remote and based in Canada or the US.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop scalable, reliable, and secure SCADA system architectures tailored to organizational needs.
2. Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders, translating them into technical specifications and designs.
3. Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies and tools to enhance system performance and capabilities.
4. Create detailed design documents, including system diagrams and technical specifications.
5. Lead configuration and customization of AVEVA Enterprise SCADA software.
6. Develop interfaces to integrate SCADA with enterprise systems like ERP, MES, and analytics platforms.
7. Conduct testing and validation to ensure system performance and reliability.
8. Oversee deployment, ensuring minimal operational disruption and smooth transition.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices.
10. Review system designs and implementations for quality and compliance.
11. Mentor and train junior engineers and technical staff.
12. Communicate project updates and challenges effectively with stakeholders.
