The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Pine Falls Health Complex in Manitoba. You will apply advanced nursing and medical theory to patient care, autonomously ordering tests, therapies and procedures while guiding and teaching a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must hold CRNM registration with Extended Practice and have experience with Indigenous communities. A driver’s license and strong communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Master’s degree in nursing - Nurse Practitioner Stream required.
• Current CRNM registration with Extended Practice roster or equivalent Primary Health Care experience.
• Current ACLS, TNCC and PALS required.
• Five years of recent clinical nursing practice with two years in area of specialty preferred.
• Preference for Indigenous experience and ability to work with Indigenous communities.

Responsabilidades

• Autonomously order and interpret diagnostic tests and pharmacologic therapies.
• Perform minor invasive procedures and lead care planning.
• Collaborate with primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide education, leadership and advocacy within multi-disciplinary team.
