Location: Hybrid in Ottawa, Canada

Educational Recommendations

Currently a candidate for a Master’s, Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited school in Canada.

Qualifications
  • Strong programming skills, demonstrated through coursework and/or projects
  • A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and concepts
Nice to Have
  • Coursework or prior experience with computer networking
  • Coursework or prior experience with big data technologies
  • AI/ML experience
Responsibilities

As part of the team, you will:

  • Collaborate with software engineers and other interns/co-ops to develop applications and services that manage and monitor Nokia’s telecom networks.
  • Operate with a SaaS-first mindset to deliver and maintain developed technology.
  • Develop automated tests to validate the functionalities you engineer.
  • Learn best practices in design and software engineering under the mentorship of a senior architect.
  • Gain understanding of Nokia’s advanced 5G telecom networks that support global connectivity.
