Roy Foss Thornhill is seeking an Automotive Technician specialized in trim work with a 310S certification to perform advanced electrical diagnostics and precision body panel/interior trim work. The role offers a $5,000 signing bonus and a busy, high-volume dealership environment in Thornhill, ON, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturdays.

The position features earnings of $45+ per hour with an OTE of $80,000–$130,000, benefits from day one, a yearly tool & PPE allowance, RRSP

Qualifications

• Valid 310S certification and a clean G license.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, electronic, and multiplex wiring faults.
• Diagnose, adjust, repair, and replace exterior panels and interior trim to eliminate squeaks and leaks.
• Perform high-quality mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance per factory standards.
• Use OEM diagnostic software to map steps and document correction notes.
• Conduct road tests to verify issues are resolved before handover.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, electronic, and multiplex wiring faults (infotainment, safety systems, ADAS).
• Diagnose, adjust, repair, and replace exterior panels, moldings, weather stripping, and interior trim pieces.
• Perform high-quality mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance across multiple makes/models.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software to scan vehicles, document steps and repair paths.
• Conduct road tests to verify resolution before returning vehicle to customer.

What We're Looking For

• Valid310S certification and a clean G license.
• Troubleshoot,isolate, and repair complex electrical, electronic, and multiplex wiringnetwork faults (including infotainment, safety systems, and advanced driverassistance systems).
• Diagnose,adjust, repair, and replace exterior panels, moldings, weather stripping, andinterior trim pieces to eliminate squeaks, rattles, wind noises, and waterleaks.
• Performhigh-quality mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance across a varietyof vehicle makes and models in accordance with factory standards.
• UtilizeOEM diagnostic software to scan vehicles, accurately mapping out anddocumenting diagnostic steps, repair paths, and correction notes.
• Conductroad tests to verify that complex electrical or trim issues are fully resolvedbefore the vehicle is returned to the customer.
