Job summary

Sherwood Park Hyundai in Sherwood Park, AB, is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform oil changes, tire services, and multi-point inspections, presenting findings to the Service Advisor. You will diagnose and repair brakes, engines, and electrical systems using computerized tools.

A valid Ontario driver's license and the ability to meet physical demands are required. Candidates with a Traditional Apprenticeship or Motive Power grads are welcome.

• Experience with oil changes and tire services
• Basic computer skills
• Shop or dealership experience
• Valid Canadian Driver's license and safe driving history
• Ability to meet physical demands

Responsibilities

• Perform oil & filter changes
• Perform oil change and tire services
• Conduct complete multi-point inspections and present findings to Service Advisor
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on brakes, engines, electrical systems
• Inspect hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes and other components
• Test systems and components using computerized diagnostics to isolate faults
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components including major vehicle systems
