Job summary

Sherwood Park Hyundai, located in Sherwood Park, AB, seeks an Automotive Technician for a full-time role in our busy service department. You will perform oil changes, tire services and comprehensive multi-point inspections, using diagnostics to locate faults and reporting findings to the Service Advisor.

The ideal candidate has oil change and tire service experience, basic computer skills, and a valid Canadian driver's license.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or Motive Power grads welcomed.
• Oil change & tire experience is an asset.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Shop/dealership experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Canadian Driver's license.
• Ability to meet physical demands (heavy lifting, long standing).

Responsibilities

• Perform oil & filter changes.
• Sell lubrication, safety inspection and related services.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspection and present findings to Service Advisor.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on vehicle systems.
• Inspect hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes and other components.
• Inspect motors in operation and road-test to diagnose faults.
• Repair or replace parts across fuel, brakes, steering, engine, exhaust and electrical systems.
