Job summary

Birchwood Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Technician, Licensed Red Seal, to diagnose repairs, estimate service time, and complete work correctly the first time. The role reports to the Service Manager and operates in a high-volume, fast-paced Birchwood Steinbach Toyota shop setting.

You will maintain up-to-date product knowledge, leverage technology for diagnostics, and contribute to exceptional customer satisfaction after vehicle purchase.

• Diagnose repairs and estimate time required.

• Able to use technology for day-to-day repairs.

Reporting Relationship

This position reports directly to the Service Manager.

Job Summary

The Automotive Technician plays an integral role at Birchwood achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction after the purchase of a vehicle. The successful candidate is will have the ability to maintain current product and technical knowledge, to estimate time of service and repair needed, and to diagnose and complete the required work right the first time. Using industry-leading technology, the Automotive Technician will diagnose repairs required on a wide range of vehicles.

Full Time (Monday - Friday)

Qualifications

• Technician Level 4 and up are welcome to apply
• Ability to diagnose and problem solve independently
• Comfortable leveraging technology for most day to day repairs
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where optimal production is supported
• High attention to detail with proven time management and organizational skills
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Valid Class 5 driver's license, and a clear driver's abstract
