Kal Tire in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking an Apprentice Automotive Technician/Tire, Brake and Alignment Technician. This entry-level role offers hands-on training, mentorship from experienced technicians, and exposure to the latest tools and technology as you start a career in the automotive trade.

You'll perform front-end brake services, tire mounting and balancing, wheel alignments, and diagnostic support while developing practical skills in a safety-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Automotive Technician Program or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the automotive trade.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform front-end brake services, wheel alignments and tire work.
• Remove, install and balance tires on passenger and light trucks.
• Diagnose tire issues and perform repairs.
• Operate alignment and service equipment and assist with inspections.
