Job summary

Kal Tire is seeking an Apprentice Automotive Technician/Tire, Brake and Alignment Technician to join our store in Canada. You’ll enter a leading-edge training program, work with the latest tools, and gain experience delivering customer service while building a promising future in the automotive industry.

You will perform front-end brake services, tire balancing, wheel alignments, and routine vehicle maintenance under supervision, developing skills through hands-on mentorship and safety-focused

Qualifications

• Completion of an Automotive Technician Program or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn in the automotive industry.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work safely in a team environment and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform front-end brake services, tire handling and wheel alignments.
• Diagnose tire and vehicle issues and assist in repairs.
• Assist with diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle issues to gain real-world experience.
• Maintain safety protocols and PPE in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform front-end brake services, shock replacements, and wheel alignments.
• Remove, install, repair, and balance tires on passenger and light truck vehicles safely
• Diagnose tire issues and perform appropriate repairs.
• Operate and maintain alignment and flush machines, and perform oil, lube, and filter services.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Automotive Technician Program or equivalent experience.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, effective problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn in the automotive industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical capability to work in a demanding environment, including heavy lifting and frequent movement.
• A safety-focused mindset with a positive, respectful, and team-oriented attitude.
