Qualifications

  • Valid BC driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in dealership settings, preferably with Mazda.

  • Perform duties as outlined on repair orders.
  • Diagnose and report existing conditions to relevant parties.
  • Accurately document and record findings.
  • Road test vehicles as needed for quality control.

Job description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Serve clients efficiently to meet or exceed expectations
  • Perform duties as outlined on repair orders and discuss status with service advisors
  • Diagnose and report existing conditions and additional repairs (safety or service) to relevant parties
  • Accurately document and record all findings and communicate with Service Advisor
  • Road test vehicles as needed to identify concerns and ensure quality control
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, manufacturer updates, bulletins, recalls, and technical information
  • Maintain strong computer skills, including MS Office suite

What we need from you:

  • Ability to analyze and interpret customer concerns and offer appropriate solutions
  • Operate independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
  • Above-average technical aptitude
  • Dealership experience is an asset, especially related to the Mazda brand
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction within the dealership
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Must be a 3rd Year Apprentice or Red Seal Certified
  • Valid BC driver’s license with a clean driving record
