Job Summary

Provide technical instruction based on specified service training curriculum for technicians:

  • Participate in and plan a continuous 1-month rolling service training schedule, which includes entering the schedules in the Learning Management System (LMS) (Cornerstone) and closing rosters after every class.
  • Assist in the review, maintenance and development of curriculum, specific courses and technical education methods (Zoom, Teams, LMS, Cornerstone and more).
  • Assist in the determination of core competencies, training needs and development of training action plans for dealership staff.
  • Manage the training center day-to-day operations and maintain assets, such as (but not limited to) vehicles, equipment, storage and security procedures.
Qualifications
  • College diploma and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Provincial Technician’s License or Interprovincial License must be held by the applicant.
  • 5+ years' experience in a technical automotive position within an OEM.
  • Highly competent facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and well organized – a continuous student of automotive technology.
  • Adept computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Team player with the ability to build and sustain credibility with dealer and internal teams.
  • Must have a valid passport to travel between Canada and the United States.
  • A great attitude and proven ability to be an effective team leader and collaborator.
  • Must have the ability to work off standard hours, as required.
