A leading company in St. Catharines is seeking a Spray Booth Painter Assistant to join their team. In this temporary to permanent role, you'll be responsible for setting up painting equipment and performing various duties related to spray painting in a manufacturing environment. Job Title: Spray Booth Painter Assistant

Rate of Pay: $21.00-$23.00/hour (based on experience)

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm

Location: St. Catharine's - Dunkirk Rd. and Welland Ave.

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Hire

Our client in St. Catharine's is hiring for a Spray Booth Painter's Assistant. This facility manufactures large, high-quality trucks and trucking equipment. Successful applicants will have experience operating painting equipment in an automotive or manufacturing environment and be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up painting equipment in the spray booth area
  • Mixing paints, taping parts, cleaning as needed
  • Complete quality inspections on finished parts and make touch-ups as required
  • Follow all safety guidelines in the facility and wear appropriate PPE
  • Lifting up to 50lbs and completing general labour tasks as assigned

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Previous experience painting, detailing, or in an automotive shop role
  • Familiarity with spray painting operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
  • Valid License and own vehicle to commute to work (facility is not transit accessible)
  • Willing to provide Criminal Record Search
