Job summary

Center Point Auto in Canada is seeking a meticulous, positive candidate with a passion for working on vehicles to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical concerns across multiple makes and models.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, communicating maintenance needs to teammates, maintaining a clean shop, and safely operating company vehicles. Training is required, including online courses and occasional travel to training events.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge on all vehicle systems and be able to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical & electrical concerns including engine performance, transmission, driveline, chassis, diesel, HVAC as well electrical and body systems on a variety of makes and models.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose a variety of mechanical or electrical complaints
• Perform a variety of mechanical or electrical repairs
• Communicate vehicle maintenance & repair requirements & technical information to team members
• Ensure a clean and tidy workplace
• Operate company/customer vehicles in a clean, safe and respectful manner
• Willingness to participate in training. Online training is a requirement. As well as occasionally travelling to training events
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
• Desire to learn new skills
• Canadian residency or citizenship
