Fountain TireRocky Mountain House is looking for a knowledgeable and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and complete service on customer vehicles as directed by work orders
• Complete and maintain safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety, and Customer Experience Standards
• Advise customers and customer-facing associates on work performed, vehicle condition, and future repair needs
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups
• Ensure safety for yourself and coworkers
• Operate company and customer vehicles safely and cleanly
• Maintain mechanical service equipment regularly
• Assist in inventory management through documentation and annual counts
• Take pride in your work to keep customers safe and on the road!

Working conditions:

• A team environment that rewards hard work, clear communication, and focus
• Lifting of weights around 25KG is required
• The work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy, etc., and requires resilience
• Nearly constant standing, crouching, or kneeling

Qualifications:

• Registered Journeyman/Red Seal Automotive Service Technician required
• Experience with CVIP inspections and out-of-province licensing is an asset
• Minimum 5 years’ experience required
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driver’s abstract
• Excellent customer service skills and attitude
• Team player who takes pride in their work
