Overview

Fountain TireRocky Mountain House is looking for a knowledgeable and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair and complete service on customer vehicles as directed by work orders
  • Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Advise customers and customer-facing Associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
  • The responsibilityto keep yourself and your coworkers safe
  • Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
  • Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
  • Pride inthe work you've done keeping your customerssafe and on the road, site or field!

Working conditions:

  • A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
  • Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required
  • This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who willbe up for the challenge
  • This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling

Qualifications:

  • Registered Journeyman/Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Required
  • Out of province and CVIP inspection experience is an asset
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience required
  • A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
  • Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
  • A team player who takes pride in their work
