Job summary

Kieswetter Mazda is looking to add to our growing service department. As southwest Ontario's largest Mazda dealer, our shop is always busy with CUSTOMER WORK, warranty is less than 15% off our business. Join our team as our newest Automotive Service Technician.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ontario Driver's License
• Detail oriented, and problem-solving skills
• Punctual and reliable
• Strong communication skills and computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and services as per assigned repair orders, using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
• Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems using diagnostic tools
• Review work orders and discuss worth with service advisors
• Provide repair and servicing recommendations to service advisors and discuss parts availability with parts department
• Utilize computer to punch on and off jobs and document repair progress and diagnoses
• Stay up-to-date on factory training, recall notices, service actions and other manufacturer requirements

Wages and Hours:

• Flat rate hourly pay, negotiable based on experience
• Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5:30pm
• Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
• Half-day Saturday shifts during spring / fall tire season (4-8 per year)
