Brampton North Nissan is looking for a 310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join their high-volume shop and is offering a Competitive Compensation Package including a flat hourly rate ranging from $30 - $33 per hour, a lucrative production bonus, a tool and boot allowance, and a $5,000 signing bonus paid out after three and six months of employment.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

  • Examine all vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Prepare a complete report on the back of the repair order.
  • Estimate flat rate times for each recommendation using supplied flat-rate manuals and company policies.
  • Obtain parts prices and note availability for each recommendation.
  • Perform all work as outlined and authorized, efficiently and accurately, following company and factory standards.
  • Order parts upon authorization, indicating this on the repair order.
  • Save and tag parts for warranty, insurance, or customer requests.
  • Road-test vehicles after service, especially when work affects drivability.
  • Ensure thorough, accurate, and timely completion of all work.
  • Supervise apprentice technicians or students, reporting deficiencies to the Service Manager.
  • Attend factory and dealer training courses as scheduled.
  • Stay updated on factory technical bulletins and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, disposing of waste properly and following regulations.
  • Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications
  • Automotive Service Technician, fully licensed (310S or higher).
  • One to three years of automotive mechanical experience.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
  • Licensed Class A Technician is an asset.
  • Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and willingness to learn.
  • Team-oriented, hardworking, punctual, with a positive attitude.

***This compensation range will be based on knowledge, experience, and bonus earnings***

Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 (flat hourly rate)
