Job summary

Fountain Tire Virden is seeking a 1st–4th year Automotive Service Apprentice to develop mechanical skills in a busy service shop. You’ll work on diagnostics, repairs and routine maintenance under guidance. Licensed mechanics are welcome to apply as well.

Starting wage is 20 CAD/hour based on experience plus bonus; benefits include health, dental, and vision, retirement savings with company match, staff discounts, and opportunities for learning and advancement.

Qualifications

• A 1st or 4th year registered Automotive Service Apprentice or a Licensed Mechanic considered.
• Comfortable with diagnostics and repair.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver's abstract.
• Willing to work in a busy shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostics and repair work on cars and light trucks.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
