Qualifications

  • Valid class 5 driver's license required.
  • Strong working knowledge with automotive vehicles >4500KG T.A.R.E weight preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular service intervals and update service records.
  • Use OEM electronic diagnostic equipment for repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain tool operation safety.

Job description

Requirements

  • Valid class 5 driver's license
  • Hand tools and willing to invest in tooling
  • Reliable transportation to/from work
  • Comfortable with work both inside & outside shop environments
  • Willing to travel out on service calls if required
  • Maintain regular service intervals
  • Strong electrical diagnostic troubleshooting
  • Knowledge in modern emission system control device operation, diagnosis, and repair
  • Logical mechanical powertrain troubleshooting
  • Comfortable in the use of OEM electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Update and maintain service records
  • Comfortable with occasional heavy equipment repair and service
  • Maintain safe operation of hand tools & power tools
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Knowledge in proper hazardous waste disposal
  • Adhere to corporate safety protocols


Preference will be given to those who have:

  • Strong working knowledge with automotive vehicles in excess of 4500KG T.A.R.E weight
  • Knowledge in heavy equipment applications
  • Hold valid first aid training
