The Automotive Service Manager oversees daily service operations to deliver top-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. This position manages service technicians and support staff, oversees vehicle maintenance, and maintains strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations (scheduling, staffing, resource management)

Ensure high customer satisfaction through quality repairs and maintenance

Hire, train, and evaluate service technicians and support staff

Enforce safety protocols and procedures for efficient, safe repairs

Maintain accurate records of repairs, invoicing, warranties, and communications

Collaborate with suppliers for timely parts delivery and negotiate contracts

Develop and implement policies to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction

Keep the department clean, organized, and fully equipped

Stay current on industry trends, technology, and regulations

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors in Business, Automotive Technology, or similar preferred

5+ years of automotive repair experience, including 2+ years in management

Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and diagnostic software

Knowledge of repair procedures and industry regulations

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Valid drivers license with a clean record
