Job summary

MINI Toronto is seeking a highly motivated apprentice technician to join our Toronto team. This 3rd or 4th year role offers a competitive compensation package, an 80-hour bi-weekly guarantee with a performance bonus, and extensive training opportunities.

Candidates should be licensed Automotive Service Technicians with Ontario driving privileges and a safe driving record. BMW dealership experience is a plus; team-focused and detail-oriented individuals thrive here.

Qualifications

• Licensed Automotive Service Technician (2 years preferred); BMW dealership experience is an asset.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical repairs and Provincial Safety Standards.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License with clean abstract.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure with deadlines.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Advanced diagnostic and problem solving skills.
• Proficient with computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with efficiency and quality workmanship.
• Complete all work according to safety requirements and published procedures.
• Perform warranty repairs in accordance with MINI's Policies and Procedures, including proper documentation and return of warranty parts.
• Attend MINI and company training courses as required.
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins.
• Assist in training and supervising apprentice technician.
• Produce quality work that evidences pride of workmanship.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
• Ensure customer cars are kept clean.
• Maintain a safe, organized and neat work area.
