Job summary

CSN Mark V in Kelowna, BC is seeking an Automotive Service Apprentice to join our team. You will learn under licensed technicians, gain hands-on experience repairing automotive systems after collisions, and develop your skills with hand and power tools.

This role welcomes second, third, or fourth year apprentices with a valid Class 5 license. You should work safely, manage deadlines, and contribute to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Second, third or fourth year apprentice welcome.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for repair work.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix vehicle issues.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Repair automotive systems damaged in the course of collision (electrical, steering, suspension, braking, A/C, etc.).
• Use hand and power tools to complete repair tasks efficiently.
• Conduct heavy lifting as needed to handle vehicle parts and equipment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles.

• Take direction from licensed Automotive Service Technicians to do the following: Repair automotive systems damaged in the course of collision, including: electrical, steering, suspension, breaking, air conditioning, etc.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repair tasks efficiently.
• Conduct heavy lifting as needed to handle vehicle parts and equipment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicle.
