Job summary

Maple Ridge Volkswagen, part of the AutoCanada dealer network, seeks a results-driven Full Time Salesperson in Maple Ridge, BC. You will engage customers online, by phone, and in person to guide car purchases, negotiate terms, and ensure an exceptional buying experience.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in customer-facing roles, a hunter mentality, and a track record of building lasting relationships. Great earning potential with commission-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Hold a valid CA-issued Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment background and MVR screen.
• Open availability for days, evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• Background in retail, sales, marketing or customer service preferred.
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, and mobility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated drive to meet monthly sales objectives.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in showroom, maintaining a professional environment.
• Answer questions about new/used cars, financing, and processes.
• Negotiate terms to meet customer needs and dealership policies.
• Maintain and leverage customer database for future sales and referrals.
• Present vehicles through test drives and demonstrations.
• Reach out to prospective buyers via email and calls to fill the calendar.
• Follow up with customers to earn repeat and referral business.
• Stay updated on dealer group and manufacturer training.
• Other duties as assigned by store leadership.
