Job summary

Lordco Auto Parts in Fernie, BC is hiring an Automotive Parts Representative to provide exceptional customer service and expert product recommendations. You will work with staff across the store to source, order, and deliver the right parts while growing your automotive knowledge in a supportive, family-like environment.

The role emphasizes assisting customers in person and over the phone, partnering with colleagues, and contributing to a positive shopping experience with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 0-4+ years of automotive and/or sales experience preferred, or currently enrolled in a post-secondary automotive program
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage customers in person and over the phone
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and adhere to safety procedures

• Provide aftermarket auto part & accessory recommendations using your automotive knowledge

What you’ll do:

• Provide exceptional customer service experience

• Work diligently with fellow staff at the store, region, and organization levels in order to source, order and deliver the right solutions for our customers

• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the store to ensure the team’s success

• 0-4+ years of automotive and/or sales experience preferred, or currently enrolled in a post-secondary automotive program
• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive manner in person and over the phone
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
