Job summary

Lordco Auto Parts in Campbell River, BC is seeking an Automotive Parts Representative who loves helping customers and sharing automotive knowledge. This full-time role is near home and offers a path to grow in the automotive industry within a family-owned company.

You will provide exceptional customer service, recommend parts and accessories, and work with store staff to source and deliver the right solutions. The job requires reliable, customer-focused individuals ready to lift up to 50lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a parts counterperson or automotive experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts, functions and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for in-person and phone interactions.
• Familiarity with parts catalogues and inventory management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.

• Provide exceptional customer service experience
• Provide aftermarket auto part & accessory recommendations using your automotive knowledge
• Work diligently with fellow staff at the store, region, and organization levels in order to source, order and deliver the right solutions for our customers
• Seize every opportunity to grow your automotive knowledge
• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the store to ensure the team’s success

• Experience as a parts counterperson or any automotive experiences are considered assets
• Strong knowledge and/or sales skills regarding automotive parts, including function and applications
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive manner in person and over the phone
• Familiarity with parts catalogues and inventory management systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs
