Job summary

Carle Ford Inc. is seeking an experienced automotive parts counterperson to join our technician counter team. This permanent, full-time role involves a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, daytime, with a French requirement and English as an asset.

You will support technicians and service advisors, identify and distribute required parts, prepare parts for upcoming work, and manage orders, back orders, and reservations. Join a dynamic Ford team with ongoing Ford training.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts or a similar environment.
• Fast and accurate, even during very busy periods.
• Able to manage several priorities at the same time.
• Organized, thorough, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and service advisors.
• Search for, identify, order, and distribute the required parts.
• Prepare the parts needed for upcoming work and follow up on them.
• Manage orders, back orders, and reservations.
• Anticipate the service department's needs and act proactively.
• Keep your counter and workspace clean and organized.
• Ensure your department has the supplies it needs to operate efficiently.
• Identify problems, take ownership of them, and help resolve them.
