Maintenance Lead – Automotive Manufacturing

The Opportunity

Step into a high-impact leadership role within a well-established automotive manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key part in guiding daily maintenance operations while helping shape the future of the team.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for maintenance issues during your shift
  • Provide hands‑on leadership, coaching, and direction to skilled trades and apprentices
  • Act as backup to the Maintenance Supervisor when required
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Work with a range of equipment including PLCs, conveyors, VFDs, transformers, and HVAC systems
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure all work aligns with safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, PM schedules, and spare parts inventory
What You Bring
  • Valid trade certification (e.g., Industrial Electrician or Millwright equivalent)
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities across electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs
