Compensation :

$18-$20 / hr

What You Will Be Doing :

1. Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
2. Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and report defective or poorly functioning equipment to the supervisor.
3. Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary.
4. Inspecting and assessing tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall health.
5. Repairing punctures and replacing faulty valves.
6. Installing new tires.
7. Balancing tires and completing wheel alignment procedures.
8. Applying lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines to prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal engine performance.
9. Lubricating wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
10. Performing engine cleanings to prevent rust formation.
11. Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
12. Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
13. Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
14. Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy.
15. Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.

What You Bring to the Table :

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Completion of a postsecondary education lube technician program is considered an asset.
3. Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair is an asset.
4. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
5. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
6. Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
