Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance Adjuster with a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation to join our team in Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating insurance claims, and negotiating settlements in accordance with policy terms and provincial regulations with the insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

·Investigate and evaluate insurance claims involving automobiles, liability, and other types of coverage. (Rental cars, total loss, Proof of loss, dispute resolution processes.)

·Inspect damaged property and review documentation to determine coverage requirements.

·Interpret insurance policies and determine coverage.

·Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for claim settlements.

·Negotiate fair and timely settlements with insurance companies.

·Collaborate with management team, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed.

·Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with industry standards and provincial regulations.

Qualifications:

·CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) designation is mandatory.

·Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in insurance adjusting or a related field.

·Strong knowledge of Alberta insurance regulations.

·Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

·Ability to manage multiple claims and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·Valid driver’s license.
