Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of experience.
• OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

We seek passionate engineers to join Qualcomm's automotive graphics software team. As a key member, you will develop graphics drivers and features across Qualcomm's automotive chipsets, working at all layers of the graphics software stack on platforms like QNX, Greenhill Integrity, Linux, Android, and Hypervisors.

Responsibilities include :

• Develop graphics drivers compliant with functional safety standards.
• Create graphics drivers for virtualization environments.
• Collaborate with Automotive OEMs and Qualcomm customer engineering teams to troubleshoot and debug issues.
• Design and develop new automotive graphics features, support hardware pre/post-silicon development, debug software issues, optimize for performance and power, develop unit tests, and coordinate with OEMs.

Minimum Requirements :

• Proficiency in Embedded C and C++ coding.
• Experience in kernel mode driver development.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Over 2 years of relevant GPU experience, internal or external to Qualcomm.
• Experience with GPU optimization, advanced rendering, latency reduction, and performance troubleshooting.
• Industry experience in automotive graphics user or kernel driver development.
• Knowledge of shaders using languages like GLSL is a plus.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Android, QNX, embedded Linux, Genivi, Integrity.
• Knowledge of graphics frameworks like Kanzi and QT is advantageous.
• Proficiency with software tools: debuggers, revision control systems (GIT, Perforce), IDEs, build tools.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working across multiple time zones.
• Experience with ISO26262 development processes.
• A passion for programming excellence and goal achievement.
