Job summary

Kenny U-Pull in Gatineau, QC is seeking a motivated labourer for a temporary six‑month position, Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm. You will help dismantle and depollute vehicles and support daily yard operations, contributing to efficient recycling and safety.

You will use hand and power tools, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in varying weather. We offer starting wages of $18.50/hr plus a semi-annual bonus up to 3.75%, plus steel‑toe boots from day one and exclusive employee discounts

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a general labour or similar role.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Reliable and willingness to learn different areas of the business.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling and depolluting vehicles safely using hand tools and power tools
• Preparing vehicles for resale and/or display in the yard
• Dismounting wheels, rims and tires
• Cleaning, testing, and sorting batteries for resale
• Sorting and organizing salvaged parts for inventory
• Maintaining a clean and organized yard and work environment
