Job summary

Guelph Kia, part of AutoCanada, is seeking a Service Department Detailer to clean and detail vehicles to dealership standards. You will support the service team by maintaining a clean workspace and following safety protocols while delivering high-quality service.

Key tasks include interior/exterior detailing, applying sealant, and notifying technicians of needed repairs. This role requires reliability, accuracy and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Interest in automotive industry and knowledge about vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Experience with cleaning products and cleaning tools (power washers is a plus).
• Must be dependable with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Physically able to lift, stand for long periods and handle power tools.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Detail interior and exterior of customer vehicles to dealership standards.
• Vacuum, deodorize, and wash vehicles as part of detailing.
• Ensure exterior is clean and smudge-free.
• Detail interiors, wipe dashboards, vacuum floors, wash mats.
• Apply paint sealant and polish wheels and rims.
• Use hand-held tools to detail interior and exterior.
• Notify supervisor of parts needing repair.
• Complete quality control checklist.
• Perform other repair duties as required.
