Job summary

FFUN Chev Yorkton is looking for a dependable Automotive Detailer to join our detailing centre. You will clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors, apply cleaners and protective products, and inspect your work to ensure a high-quality finish.

This role requires a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driving license, strong attention to detail and time management, and the ability to work safely with detailing tools. Occasional Saturdays and a criminal record clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles and detailing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Willing to work occasional Saturdays and provide a criminal record clearance.
• WHMIS knowledge is an asset.
• Previous automotive detailing experience is an asset.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods.

Job description

FFUN Chev Yorkton is seeking a dependable, motivated Automotive Detailer to join the team at our FFUN Detailing Centre. Detailing is a service that keeps vehicles looking their best and protects against damage to ensure maximum value. Our Detailers take pride in quality and use professional cleaning products to clean customer and dealership vehicles. Work is often completed by hand to ensure a high-quality finish.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to a high standard

Apply cleaning, polishing, and protective products safely and correctly

Inspect your work to ensure quality before vehicles are returned to customers

Complete assigned vehicles within promised timelines

Safely operate pressure washers, shop vacuums, power polishers, glass repair equipment, and other detailing tools

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow WHMIS requirements and the company safety program

Take care when working around vehicles to prevent damage

Assist with other detailing and vehicle preparation duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

Must have a valid Class 5 or greater Saskatchewan Driver’s license and the ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles

Strong attention to detail & time management skills

Ability to inspect and monitor work for quality

Ability to safely use detailing tools and equipment

Knowledge of WHMIS and safe chemical handling is an asset

Previous automotive detailing experience is an asset

Must be available to work occasional Saturdays

Must provide a criminal record clearance

This is a physically demanding position that involves:

Standing/walking for extended periods throughout the workday

Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling

Physical stamina to complete multiple vehicles in the required timeframe

Repetitive hand and arm movements
