Craftsman Collision in Nanaimo, BC is seeking an Automotive Detailer. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $19–$22.50 and opportunities to progress toward Auto Body, Refinishing, or office roles within the collision industry.

You will clean vehicles, perform minor paint defect removal, review quality checklists, and keep the shop tidy while supporting a team-focused environment. A valid BC driver’s license is required.

We're currently seeking an Automotive Detailer for our Nanaimo location in BC. We offer a competitive wage range of $19-$22.5 per hour, depending on experience. This job is a great opportunity if you wish to continue a career within the Collision industry by moving into an apprenticeship as Auto Body or Refinishing Technician, or a Parts/Production position in the office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Automotive Detailer will be responsible for:

• Cleaning customer and replacement vehicles inside and out throughout the day
• Performing minor paint defect removal as required
• Completing quality checklist review
• Doing facility maintenance
• Sweeping around shop work bays
• Performing minor maintenance as required (change filters, light bulbs etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role the Automotive Detailer will:

• Be comfortable in a team-oriented environment
• Have a strong work ethic, integrity and ambition to succeed
• Be highly organized and detail oriented
• Be able to prioritize and manage deadlines
• Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver’s abstract over the last 3 years
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
